More than 24 years ago, Rich Merritt and Doug Prochnow co-founded Digital Combustion, drawing on their extensive experience in the fire service which ultimately came to total 30 years each. Serving in Southern California throughout their careers, Rich and Doug identified a crucial need for realistic fire simulation for training and promotional assessment centers. In response, they undertook the development of a user-friendly software suitable for fire departments of all sizes. They achieved success well beyond their expectations. The result, Fire Studio, has become one of the most widely utilized fire simulation software world-wide. Today, their unwavering commitment to innovation drives them to continually enhance the excellence of Fire Studio.
